I have a bias cause I love StarCraft, and these figures have a core like that of a common Protoss infantry (FAR FROM A COPY) but yeah, the Protoss have a very ethereal color to them. It may be the easiest way to go, but it might work for you too.
Little gray men from space is where it is derived from I think... Mind you if it had a little more bulk I bet earthly colors would be great, too? I have probably offended by this point and would like to retract this statement.
Well, it has been awhile since I've seen a full body Protoss infantry, probably let nostalgia get in the way. But I dunno after closer inspection, it really doesn't look much like it aside from the way the feet meet with the joint where an ankle would be, and the statue-esque figure it just kinda,... I miss Tassadar...
I know what you mean.. No offense taken. Thank you for the comment/suggestion too.. aprreciated... I really gotta try out some other sort of pallete of colors... i'm limiting myself and getting to used/spoiled doing the sam range of colours/hue everytime...lol CHEERS!
i wish you would have cleaned up the trident spear tips a bit...looks a bit chunky...

They both take from the same source of inspiration, but they are so different in propotions and shape.
Heck, just the legs totally kills any protoss feel.
Excellent design too man
